These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your booking and participation in the safari and travel services provided by Jaikumar Trading Investment Co Ltd – Trading as Serengeti Game Safaris & Tours. By booking with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which form a binding contract between you and Jaikumar Trading Investment Co Ltd – Trading as Serengeti Game Safaris & Tours

1. Booking and Payment

• Booking Confirmation:
  Your booking is considered confirmed only when a deposit (as specified on the website or by our booking team) has been received and payment is processed. The full payment is due 45 days before your departure date unless otherwise agreed upon.
• Payment Methods:
  Through bank transfer, or any other payment methods specified during the booking process and *FREE FROM ANY TRANSFER/S CHARGES.
• Currency:
  All prices are quoted in US dollars or Tanzanian shillings (TZS), as specified.
• Price Changes:
  The price of your safari or tour may be subject to change due to factors like fuel price increases, currency fluctuations, or changes in park fees. Any changes will be communicated to you before payment is due.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellation by You:
  If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know in writing. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
  • More than 45 days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.
  • 30 to 45 days before departure: 50% refund of the total payment.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
• Cancellation by Us:
  If we cancel your trip for any reason (including weather conditions, safety concerns, or force majeure events), you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule your tour. We are not liable for any other expenses incurred, such as flights, accommodations, or visas.

3. Travel Insurance

• Insurance Requirement:
  We strongly recommend buying comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, and lost luggage. Jaikumar Trading Investment Co Ltd – Trading as Serengeti Game Safaris & Tours is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or medical issues during your trip.

4. Responsibilities and Safety

• Your Responsibility:
  You manage following the instructions of our guides, respecting local laws and customs, and ensuring your own safety during the trip. You must let us know in advance if you have any medical conditions or special requirements.
• Health Requirements:
  You manage ensuring that you are fit for travel and follow all health and vaccination requirements. We reserve the right to refuse participation if we find that your health or fitness level may affect the safety or enjoyment of the trip.
• Local Laws and Regulations:
  You must respect all local laws, regulations, and guidelines during your safari or tour. Any violation of local laws may result in you being removed from the tour without a refund.

5. Alterations to Itinerary

• Changes by Us:
  While we strive to adhere to the advertised itinerary, we reserve the right to alter the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road conditions, or park regulations. In such cases, we will inform you of changes as soon as possible.
• Changes by You:
  Any changes to your booking, such as altering the dates or number of participants, must be communicated in writing at least 30 days before the trip. Added fees may apply for changes.

6. Liability and Limitations

• General Liability:
  Jaikumar Trading Investment Co Ltd – Trading as Serengeti Game Safaris & Tours is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to you or your property during the trip. This includes but is not limited to accidents, sickness, wildlife encounters, flight delays, or loss of personal belongings.
• Force Majeure:
  We are not liable for any delays or cancellations caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or other events beyond our control.
• Wildlife Encounters:
  Safaris and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. You accept the risks of wildlife encounters, including potential injury or property damage. Jaikumar Trading Investment Co Ltd – Trading as Serengeti Game Safari & Tours and its staff will take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

• Data Collection:
  We collect personal information such as names, addresses, and contact details during the booking process. This information is used solely for the purposes of managing your booking and improving our services.
• Third-Party Providers:
  We may share necessary personal information with third-party service providers (e.g., hotels, guides, or transport companies) to ease your safari experience. By booking with us, you consent to this information sharing.

8. Complaints and Disputes

• Complaints:
  If you have any complaints or concerns during your safari or tour, please bring them to the attention of your guide or our office at once. We will do our best to address the issue and resolve it promptly.
• Disputes:
  Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved under the laws of Tanzania. You agree to send to the authority of Tanzanian courts for any legal actions or claims.

9. Miscellaneous

• Photographs and Marketing:
  By taking part in our tours, you consent to having your image or likeness photographed or filmed and used for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• Transferability:
  You may not transfer or assign your booking to another person without prior consent from Serengeti Game Safari.

By booking with Jaikumar Trading Investment Co Ltd – Trading as Serengeti Game Safaris & Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
