Day 01: Nairobi City
Day Itinerary
Upon Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. You will be met and greet by our representative and transferred to your hotel at Nairobi. Depending on your flight arrival timing, you can book a city tour drive or visit to giraffe centre.

Nairobi
Situated along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place to be. There are some fascinating attractions: its cafe culture, unbridled nightlife, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum and most notably, just 20 minutes from the city centre, wild lions, and buffalo roam in the world’s only urban game reserve. Make sure you pay a visit to the elephant orphanage run by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for a once in a lifetime experience.
Day 02: Nairobi City – Amboseli National Park
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you drive to the Amboseli National Park (240 KM/approximately 4 hours) for your stay at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, arrive in time for freshen and lunch. After lunch, begins with your first game drive, across the game rich plains of one of East Africa’s most prolific wildlife areas. Lying within sight of the imposing shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighbouring Tanzania, the expansive plains, and infinite skies of Amboseli present us with a landscape that is truly African. Home to the proudly independent Masai, its dry savannahs thunder beneath the onslaught of the vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, impala, and the elephants for which it is famed. Panoramas filled with lush swamplands and acacia forests provide ideal havens for myriad birds and small mammals, including bee-eaters, kingfishers, caracals, and warthogs, whilst cheetahs, lion and hyena hunt the open grasslands.

Amboseli National Park
Located in the southern reaches of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park is renowned for its excellent variety of wildlife such as Maasai giraffe, elephant, lion, and cheetah and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the majestic snow cap of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as open plains, acacia woodland, swamps, and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. The birding is excellent, especially closer to the lakes and swamps. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and soak up spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Day 03: Amboseli National Park
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives see us in search of a staggering array of wilderness experiences, from the magnificent herds of game that sweep across these dusty plains, to the majestic sight of some of the 700 or so elephants for which Amboseli is justly famous. We may even be lucky enough to meet the rare black rhino.

Day 04: Amboseli National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Day Itinerary
After breakfast we check out and take a morning game viewing en-route towards the border town of Namanga, where we cross into Tanzania and continue to Arusha City (160 KM/approximately 2 ½ hours – this does not include any delays that may occur at the border).
After lunch in Arusha City, we continue our journey to the spectacular setting of the Ngorongoro Crater (190 KM/approximately 4 hours) for our stay at the Ngorongoro Carter

Ngorongoro Crater
Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife, which makes it one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest. It is famed as one of Tanzania’s best tourist attractions offering visitors an array of wonderful activities including excellent bird watching, trekking, wildlife viewing, mountain biking and visiting a local Maasai village. Lake Magadi
Not to be confused with the Kenyan lake of the same name set only a hundred kilometres away, the Tanzanian Lake Magadi is an exquisite soda lake in the Ngorongoro Crater, named the Swahili word for salt. This is a wonderful destination for nature photographers, a scene that changes exquisitely through the seasons, moving through lush greens into striking oranges and bright pinks. Along with the changes come captivating, changing groups of animals including rhino, eland, and lion, as well as golden jackals who come to hunt the flamingos. Spread over 11.2 square kilometres, the lake cultivates a unique ecosystem with its blue-green algae, which nourishes the plants and small creatures here. The surrounding crater is filled with incredible other natural attractions and a much wider variety of wildlife.
Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater
Day Itinerary – Full Day Crater Game Drive
After early breakfast, you will descend 2000ft – 610m down the crater floor for a full day game drive. it is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610m from the crater floor, its natural amphitheatre measures about 19km across diameter and has an area of 260 sq. km. it is impossible to give fair description of the crater. Spend a full day exploring the woodlands, lakes, and wide-open plains of the crater floor. Ngorongoro offers unsurpassed viewing of rare black rhinoceros, which are undisturbed by vehicles and allow viewing at close range. Some of its residents include lion, elephant, hyena, wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, ostrich, and an abundance of pink flamingos on Lake Magadi. Return to your lodge late afternoon.

Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you drive to Serengeti National Park, vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the park’s great attractions, but throughout the year the Serengeti is excellent for seeing predators such as lion, leopard, and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. Arrive in time for freshen and lunch at the lodge, En-route visit to Olduvai Gorge (Optional at added cost).
After lunch, enjoy game drive in the vast open savanna in search of ‘Big Five.’ Late evening returns at lodge, enjoy evening over dinner.

Central Serengeti
Situated in the heart of Tanzania, the Central Serengeti encompasses the world-famous Seronera Valley which is known for its prime wildlife-viewing opportunities. This picture-perfect landscape is characterised by endless stretches of savannah-covered open plains interspersed by rocky outcrops of granite and scattered with acacia woodlands and covered in a network of rivers and streams. The Central Serengeti forms part of the great wildebeest and zebra migration and provides an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife such as giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, serval and much more. Popular activities include game viewing, cultural tours, and hot air ballooning over the spectacularly scenic terrain.
Day 07: Central Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)
Day Itinerary
After leisurely breakfast, enjoy a full day of a thrilling game view, Visit the prime areas of central Serengeti for seeing the fullest possible variety of animals. Visit hippo pools in the Seronera Valley, forests where leopard and colobus monkeys live in the treetops, kopjes where lions laze in the shade, and riversides where large animals congregate to drink. Return to your lodge for freshen and lunch. Afternoon time to relax on your private balcony, swim in the infinity pool, and take in a Maasai cultural program or guided nature walk. Late afternoon enjoy game drive extended till late evening, back at lodge time to enjoy evening over dinner.

Day 08: Central Serengeti – Serengeti Western Corridor
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you will have a game drive of the Serengeti and will arrive at one of the most luxury camp in western corridor of the Serengeti Plain. Enjoy your stay and dinner under sky.

Serengeti Western Corridor
Defined by its two parallel rivers: the Mbalageti and the Grumeti, the Serengeti’s remote Western Corridor is home to a dazzling array of animal, bird, and floral species. This region becomes a hive of activity around July, when it offers front row seats to the Great Migration, with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and other migratory species thundering through the area’s woodlands and across its plains. While this is undoubtedly the annual wildlife highlight, the Western Corridor offers good game-viewing throughout the year, with guided walks, horse riding safaris and balloon trips offered as an alternative to drives.
Day 09: Serengeti Wester Corridor – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Day Itinerary
After an early morning game drive, return at camp for freshen and breakfast, later we continue to the border at Isabania (300 KM/approximately 5 hours), where we cross back into Kenya and head for the breathtaking beauty of the Maasai Mara National Reserve (100KM/approximately 3 hours – travelling time depends on game viewing opportunities).

Maasai Mara National Reserve
One of Kenya’s undisputed natural highlights is the Maasai Mara National Reserve, which sprawls across more than 1500 square kilometres of the country’s southwest. The park protects a phenomenal array of game, including elephant, lion, leopard, and buffalo, as well as crocodile and hippopotamus in the Mara River. The birdlife is no less impressive, with over 450 resident bird species. However, the true highlight here is the Great Migration, recognised as one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. To survive the dry months of July to September, some 1.7 million wildebeest, migrate from the parched plains of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Along with much smaller numbers of antelope, buffalo, and zebra, they move to the more forgiving grasslands of the Masai Mara. In their wake come predators such as lion, hyena, and cheetah, for whom these giant herds are an easy source of prey.
Day 10: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Day Itinerary
With every species of animal great and small in the park, this is one of Africa’s premier wildlife areas and today we enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives in search of the ‘Big Five.’
Each year the Mara explodes into life, as the annual migration of great herds of wildebeest journey from the Serengeti to fresh pastures in the north. Between July and October, the Mara River becomes the setting for the crossing of some 1.3 million animals, bringing with them the inevitable predators and the inevitable dramas.

Day 11: Maasai Mara – Nairobi City / JK Int Airport
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you will drive to Nairobi City OR take a game drive en-route to the Serena airstrip for the flight back to Nairobi (1 hour) – WITH SUPPLEMENT COST.
On arrival, transfer to your Nairobi City Hotel / JK Int Airport for your return / onward flight.
