Lake Duluti Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park (Serengeti Central) – Serengeti National Park (Western Corridor)

Day 01: Kilimanjaro International Airport—Lake Duluti, Arusha

Day Itinerary
On arrival at JRO Int Airport, your appointed driver/guide to meet and welcome guests and transfers to Lake Duluti Hotel. Afternoon at leisure, you will rest and relax at the hotel.
Your driver/guide is an experienced wildlife expert whose knowledge and ability to spot the animals and birds will astound you.

Lake Duluti
Nestled within the captivating landscapes of Tanzania, Lake Duluti appears as a serene gem that encapsulates the natural beauty of the region. With its tranquil waters and lush surroundings, the lake offers a haven of tranquillity and a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Lake Duluti allure lies in its scenic vistas and serene ambience. The calm waters mirror the surrounding greenery, creating a picturesque scene that evokes a sense of serenity. The lake’s location at the foot of Mount Meru adds an extra layer of enchantment, as the towering peak provides a majestic backdrop to the tranquil waters.

Day 02: Arusha City—Lake Manyara National Park

Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you continue to Lake Manyara National Park and arrive at the lodge for freshen and lunch. After lunch, begins your first game drive of Manyara Park. Late afternoon returns to lodge, time to relax, enjoy lodge facilities and evening over dinner.

Lake Manyara National Park
Situated in Tanzania’s central-northern region with Lake Manyara to its east and the Manyara Escarpment to its west, the Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats supporting an array of wildlife. This small park is home to surprising biodiversity and features a magnificent landscape of acacia woodlands, forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. The park supports over 400 species of bird and the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world. Other species to spot include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, warthog, the Cape clawless otter, and the Egyptian mongoose. Do not miss the opportunity to see thousands of flamingos on the lake, the renowned tree-climbing lions, and large families of elephants strolling through the forest.

Day 03: Lake Manyara National Park—Ngorongoro Crater

Day Itinerary
After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy en-route game viewing to Ngorongoro Crater and arrive at the lodge in time for freshen and lunch. Afternoon at leisure, enjoy lodge facilities and surroundings.

Ngorongoro Crater
Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife, which makes it one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species, including large herds of zebra and wildebeest. It is famed as one of Tanzania’s best tourist attractions offering visitors an array of wonderful activities including excellent bird watching, trekking, wildlife viewing, mountain biking and visiting a local Maasai village. Do not miss the opportunity to jump on an excursion to the magnificent Olduvai Gorge.

Lake Magadi
Not to be confused with the Kenyan lake of the same name set only a hundred kilometres away, the Tanzanian Lake Magadi is an exquisite soda lake in the Ngorongoro Crater, named the Swahili word for salt. This is a remarkable destination for nature photographers, a scene that changes exquisitely through the seasons, moving through lush greens into striking oranges and bright pinks. Along with the changes come captivating, changing groups of animals including rhino, eland, and lion, as well as golden jackals who come to hunt the flamingos. Spread over 11.2 square kilometres, the lake cultivates a unique ecosystem with its blue-green algae, which nourishes the plants and small creatures here. The surrounding crater is filled with incredible other natural attractions and a much wider variety of wildlife.

Day 04: Ngorongoro Crater

Day Itinerary – Full Day Crater Game Drive
After early breakfast, you descend 2000 ft (0.61 km) – 610m down the crater floor for a full day game drive. It is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610m from the crater floor, its natural amphitheatre measures about 19 km across diameter and has an area of 260 sq.km. it is impossible to give fair description of the crater. On the crater floor, roams thousands of plain animals, elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, rhino, velvet monkey and predators including hyenas and black maned lion. Late afternoon returns to lodge, time for relaxation and enjoy evening over dinner

Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater—Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you drive to Serengeti National Park. A vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the park’s great attractions. The Serengeti is excellent for seeing predators such as lion, leopard, and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. On route to Serengeti—Olduvai Gorge Visit – (Optional at supplement cost) Arrive at lodge for lunch. After lunch begins game drives of Serengeti.

Central Serengeti
Situated in the heart of Tanzania, the Central Serengeti encompasses the world-famous Seronera Valley, which is known for its prime wildlife-viewing opportunities. This picture-perfect landscape is characterised by endless stretches of savannah-covered open plains interspersed by rocky outcrops of granite and scattered with acacia woodlands and covered in a network of rivers and streams. The Central Serengeti forms part of the great wildebeest and zebra migration and provides an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife such as giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, serval and much more. Popular activities include game viewing, cultural tours, horse riding safaris, and hot air ballooning over the spectacularly scenic terrain.

Day 06: Central Serengeti National Park

Day Itinerary
After Breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive of the Serengeti Plains. A thrilling day of game viewing will take you to prime areas of central Serengeti for seeing the fullest possible variety of animals. Visit hippo pools in the Seronera Valley, forests where leopard and colobus monkeys live in the treetops, kopjes where lions laze in the shade, and riversides where large animals congregate to drink. Late afternoon returns to lodge and enjoy evening over dinner and newly found friends.

Day 07: Central Serengeti—Serengeti Western Corridor

Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you will have a game drive of the Serengeti, late afternoon arrives at one of the most luxury camp in western corridor of the Serengeti Plain Kirawira Serena Camp, relax and enjoy your evening over dinner

Serengeti Western Corridor
Defined by its two parallel rivers: the Mbalageti and the Grumeti, the Serengeti’s remote Western Corridor is home to a dazzling array of animal, bird, and floral species. This region becomes a hive of activity around July, when it offers front row seats to the Great Migration, with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and other migratory species thundering through the area’s woodlands and across its plains. While this is undoubtedly the annual wildlife highlight, the Western Corridor offers good game-viewing throughout the year, with guided walks, horse riding safaris and balloon trips offered as an alternative to drives.

Day 08: Serengeti National Park – Arusha City / JRO Int Airport

Day Itinerary
You take an early game drive of the park and drive back to your lodge for freshen and breakfast and then continue to Grumeti Airstrip for your schedule flight to Arusha. Upon Arrival, you will be received by our representative and drive to a restaurant for lunch. After lunch, transfers to your hotel in Arusha City / JRO Int Airport.
